Workers' Compensation
The Connecticut Workers' Compensation Commission defines workers' compensation as providing benefits and medical treatments for workers who are injured or become ill because of their jobs. Workers’ compensation claims can result from injuries in hazardous work environments, fall down injuries, and injuries from frequent lifting, bending, or stooping. Workers’ compensation claims can involve: repetitive trauma injuries, occupational illnesses (chronic asthma and allergies), back injuries, neck injuries, and injuries and falls. Most employees, including part-time and full-time employees, are covered by workers' compensation benefits.
At Capozziello & Capozziello, LLC, we have experience with many workers’ compensation claim cases. If you have been injured, are out of work due to a disability, or have lost a family member due to a fatal accident at work, it is important that you file a claim as quickly as possible. If you have a worker's composition case, we encourage you to contact our office, either through phone or email, to set up an appointment to speak with one of our attorneys.
